| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. All cards are checked and validated through Realex Payments. For full details on this service, please visit Realex Payments We accept Laser, Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Shipping And Handling Orchid Book Distributors does not have it's own supply facilities, but uses reliable, top quality couriers to deliver your orders. All orders are handled with the utmost care. When accepting an order, the signing of the POD (Proof of delivery) implies the acceptance of the order as being complete and in good condition. The onus is on the CUSTOMER to CHECK the ORDER BEFORE SIGNING the POD. |
| Delivery Schedule Orders are processed on a first come, first served basis. Orchid Book Distributors endeavour to despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Under normal circumstances deliveries are on a "next day" basis. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |

| Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. Orchid Book Distributors operates a "No Quible" returns policy. Orchid Book Distributors does however insist that the goods must be returned in their original packaging, and must be in such a condition that facilitates resale at full retail price. Returns must include the tracking number used for the initial delivery, and the authorisation number for the credit card payment must also be provided. Customers must notify Orchid Book Distributors in writing of their intention to return goods before doing so. Goods intended for return must be shipped using a traceable method, and this method must produce a POD. Orchid Book Distributors will NOT refund shipping costs incurred for the original shipment, nor will Orchid Book Distributors refund the cost of returning the goods, while a restocking fee of 25% of cost, exclusive shipping, will also be applied. Customers can however contact us and we will be happy to have the goods collected by our designated shippers. The cost of this collection will be deducted from your refund, if any, before the restocking fee is charged. |
| Remittance Terms Our terms are strictly CASH with order, unless otherwise agreed between a Director of Orchid Book Distributors and an individual client. Any credit terms agreed to must be strictly adhered to, and no deviation from those terms will be acceptable. |
